Exímio was founded in November 2015 with the purpose of transforming healthcare management. Our focus has been on providing increased security, professionalism, efficiency, and sustainability.

We initiated our journey by managing healthcare units within hospitals, including Intensive Care Units (ICUs), emergency departments, surgical centers, and inpatient units. We have since evolved our model and now offer comprehensive hospital management, delivering value to shareholders, physicians, staff, patients, and healthcare providers.

Today, we are a group that operates in four regions of the country, with a growth rate of more than 500% in the last two years.

We fully manage six hospitals, operate in several large ones, and have our own medium- and high-complexity hospital in Brazil.

We also have a presence in Ecuador, in the city of Guaiaquil, in a high-end hospital.

Exímio was founded in November 2015 with the purpose of transforming healthcare management. Our focus has been on providing increased security, professionalism, efficiency, and sustainability.

We initiated our journey by managing healthcare units within hospitals, including Intensive Care Units (ICUs), emergency departments, surgical centers, and inpatient units. We have since evolved our model and now offer comprehensive hospital management, delivering value to shareholders, physicians, staff, patients, and healthcare providers.

During the years 2016 and 2017, we focused on empowering medical staff and incorporating operational teams into healthcare units as our initial value proposition.

The key realization was that people are the ones who drive results. Merely possessing technical skills and tools was not enough; engagement was essential.

Our greatest challenge was engaging physicians. Most of them were service providers rather than hospital employees, so the conventional “team spirit” approach was not sufficient.

To address this challenge, we became pioneers in utilizing a classic performance management methodology from the industry, the Balanced Scorecard, as a tool to be applied in healthcare units for both employees and physicians. The success was tremendous, and the desired outcomes were achieved.

Over the following months, the healthcare market became financially stronger, and the main economic model used at the time was the Bundled Payment. Our management solution reduced clinical variability, labor costs, eliminated wasteful practices, and increased healthcare unit productivity, demonstrating strong synergy with the new system.

In 2018, we launched an internal project using proprietary technology to keep up with the digital and technological advancements in the healthcare market. Once again, we succeeded. Then, in 2021, after years of development and substantial investments, H:Data, our healthcare management technology, was born.

Following the critical phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, we restructured our company, and in 2022, we launched a new business model, now focused on hospital management outsourcing.

Today, our mission is to professionalize and competitively position small and medium-sized hospitals, which are mostly located outside of large urban areas and have been deprived of the great advances of the last decade.
